Parcels-airline group to deliver 1,000 tonnes of Turkey aid

A consortium consisting of Lufthansa-Turkish Airlines joint venture SunExpress, Lufthansa Cargo, DPD, FIEGE, time:matters and Customs Broker GmbH, have transported more than 3,000 parcels to the earthquake zone in Turkey. Parcels were dropped off by private donors at 7,700 DPD parcel shops and then sorted and prepared for onward transport at the FIEGE logistics centre, on eight cargo flights to Turkey.
