DB Schenker takes over in Telford

DB Schenker Rail has formally taken over as the new operator of the Telford International Railfreight Park. The terminal, opened in June 2009 and with a capacity of up to four trains a day, was initially funded by a combination of Telford & Wrekin Council, Advantage West Midlands, the Homes and Communities Agency and the European Regional Development Fund.
