Improvements in the Stifel Logistics Confidence Index continued into November as the overall index climbed 2.5 index points to 57.1, says transport consultancy Ti. The index has remained above 50 since February - not only its highest level but the first time that the individual air and sea indices have been above the 50 mark.
Ti suggests that the strong increase may be because of improving economic conditions in Europe.
