Dutch chartering company Transito has launched Total Freight, which combines sea freight and inland shipping under one contract. It aims to address disruptions at the interface between the two modes, including low water, port congestion and vessel delays. Transito arranges both shipping legs, including port handling and transhipment, and absorbs agreed waiting time.
