It’s snow joke, delivering to the Antarctic

Oversized airfreight carrier Volga-Dnepr Airlines has completed its sixth program for the Dromlan international Antarctic project in Dronning Maud Land. It operated five IL76 charter flights from Cape Town to Novolazarevskaya delivering over 200 tons of cargo 4,200km, landing and taking-off on an ice runway, testing crews’ skills to the limit. [+]

Volga-Dnepr Airlines has delivered the European Space Agency’s Sentinel-5P satellite from London Stansted to Archangelsk in northwest Russia on behalf of Airbus Defence and Space.
