HERO welcomed in Southampton

Wallenius Wilhelmsen’s latest HERO’ class vehicle carrying vessel has made its maiden call to ABP's Port of Southampton. The Titus is the latest in a fleet of eight new vessels that are being phased in and feature an efficient exhaust gas cleaning system that produces less than 0.1% sulphur emissions. The new class of vessel is also wider than its predecessors allowing it to carry greater volumes of cargo. [+]

WWL to buy South Africa car centres

Car carrying ro ro operator Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics has signed an agreement with partner company Groupe CAT to acquire its 50% shares in CAT-WWL, a joint venture network of ten vehicle processing facilities based in South Africa.
