Bidders mull Eddie Stobart buy

Wincanton is considering a bid for multimodal transport and logistics operator Eddie Stobart. However, Stobart’s largest shareholder DBAY Advisors is also considering a bid. It follows a troubled time for Eddie Stobart. Chief executive Alex Laffey stood down in the summer following an accounting error that  overstated profits by £2 million, leading to a collapse in its share price. [+]
