Yusen Logistics has opened a new logistics centre in Greystanes, Sydney, its eighth in the country.

Greystanes, located in the state of New South Wales, is approximately 30 kilometers or 45 minutes from both Sydney Airport and the port of Sydney.

YLAU already operates three warehouses in Sydney but has established the anew centre will cater for rising demand.

Yusen also operates logistics and bonded warehouses in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth, providing storage, pick pack, domestic distribution and other added value services. Due to the size of Australia delivery times to major cities has always been a problem, but with soph inventory management, deliveries can be made from the warehouse closest to the customer, reducing delivery time and costs. An in-house Kaizen Team has also been established aiming at maintaining and improving daily operations, such as reducing operation time, effective space usage and minimizing operational mistakes.
