Transaid has partnered with fellow nonprofit organisation American International Health Alliance (AIHA) on a 12-month supply chain strengthening project, funded by The Gates Foundation, with Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Supply Services (EPSS).

Transaid will support staff development at the Addis Ababa-based agency which procures nearly US$1 billion worth of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies each year, for delivery to more than 4,000 health facilities across the country.

Transaid has also announced its 2026 cycle challenge, in Tanzania. It is inviting riders to take part in a 10-day adventure from 17-26 September 2026, 454km across from Kilimanjaro to the coast and onto the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar. Entries are invited from individuals and teams. The registration fee is £399 and riders are asked to raise £4,295 as a fundraising pledge.
