Transmec to take space at London Gateway

Pan European groupage operator Transmec UK has become the latest business in four months to locate at London Gateway logistics park. A 150,000 sq ft distribution hub is set to open in 2023. it will be constructed to meet BREEAM sustainability standards with a 30% carbon reduction during construction and a 40% reduction in operational carbon emissions.

Manager of Transmec UK’s London branch, Imran Mohammed, said: “London Gateway is a fantastic site that will provide Transmec with the warehousing capacity and infrastructure it needs to meet growing demand from customers across the UK and EU. We take pride in delivering bespoke solutions for international supply chains and serve a wide range of sectors, including fashion, automotive and leisure.”

Other companies that have recently signed leases at the park are drinks warehousing company London City Bond and document management firm Oasis Group.
