Transvalair joins Palletways

Freight forwarder Transvalair has joined the Palletways network. It will handle full load express deliveries for Palletways customers in four Redhill postcode districts around Gatwick covering parts of Surrey and Sussex.
Transvalair, which started life in 1973 as a Swiss cargo airline, has operated as a multimodal freight forwarder since 1976 at five depots across England, including Felixstowe, using a fleet of more than 60 vehicles and 130 members of staff.
Operations manager, Rob McCabe said: “Being part of Europe’s largest and fastest growing network will help us to grow even further and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of the Palletways family. Through Palletways our worldwide customers will benefit from access to the best quality and options available to ship within the EU.”
Transvalair recently located to a new bespoke head office in Crawley, near Gatwick, offering 11 loading doors with access to both sides of the vehicles allowing it to simultaneously load and unload six trailers.
