Truck crime workshops

A series of four workshops on freight crime on Britain’s roads is being held throughout October. Organised by the University of Central Lancashire,and funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) they aim to bring together haulage companies, police and other organisations such as insurance companies, community safety partnerships and local authorities, to discuss the problem. The series of four workshops across the UK will culminate in UCLan holding a national conference in January 2012.

The workshops will be held at UClan Preston (5 October), Ashford Football Club, Kent (12 October), Truckpol HQ, Ryton on Dunsmore (19 October) and The Gatehouse Centre, Bristol (26 October). The national conference will be held at UCLan in January 2012
