Turkish Cargo ushers in the age of the robots

[ September 24, 2020   //   ]

Turkish Cargo has integrated robotic process automation into its business processes to minimise error and reduce costs while improving employee productivity and speed of operation.

The system will initially be used to control spot rate approvals, mail rates, and cargo booking. It will also check that the different ‘robots’ are working harmoniously.

It adds that the SmartIST digitally equipped facility being constructed at the new Istanbul Airport will have the capacity for 4 million tonnes of cargo a year thanks to the new artificial intelligence technology and digitalized processes.
