Tyne port helps keep Mariners’ dreams afloat

[ May 10, 2019   //   ]

Port of Tyne has signed a partnership with the Mariners (or South Shields Football Club as they are officially known)  to help boost health and wellbeing in the area.

The Port will become South Shields Football Club Foundation’s main activity partner, providing financial support for the creation of a diverse activity programme that will benefit local people of all ages.

It’s all part of the Mariners bid to reach the Football League as a sustainable community club by 2023.
