UFL sees healthy prospects for China medical trade

Hong Kong forwarder U-Freight Group (UFL) has signed an agreement with Shanghai Hongyu Supply Chain Management Co to create a global one-stop medical supply chain service.

Shanghai Hongyu specialises in supply chain management for medical and healthcare products in China.

Under the deal, the two companies will share resources to develop complementary domestic and foreign supply chain management networks, with integrated distribution and fulfilment operations worldwide. It will include traditional trade, e-commerce and other avenues. The cooperation will also provide third party logistics support for foreign health and medical device businesses entering the Chinese market.
Shanghai Hongyu general manager Jacky Cao said that a recent meeting of a Chinese government committee of focused on the country’s huge medical and healthcare equipment market and the need to reduce logistics costs.
