Wallenius opens GIART car terminal

Wallenius Wilhelmsen has started operations at Gothenburg International Auto & RoRo Terminal (GIART) in Sweden. It aims to develop a regional hub at Scandinavia’s leading vehicle handling port.

The terminal offers full RoRo and terminal handling services, with phased upgrades planned to expand value-added processing.

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is operating GIART through a newly established, separate, independent company created for this purpose.

GIART has two quay positions, 240,000sq m of terminal space, a rail siding and PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) facilities.
