Water flow for Norbert Dentressangle

Norbert Dentressangle has won a new £3 million two-year import contract with Nestlé Waters UK for bottled water from Europe that meets Nestle’s environmental goals to reduce CO2 emissions.

The forwarder has developed an integrated intermodal and road transport service, offering higher payloads to significantly cuts the number of road deliveries and it can also accommodate volume volatility due to varying weather conditions and consequent consumer demand.

Norbert Dentressangle will make around 900 scheduled collections and deliveries a year, moving full trailer and container loads at fixed times. This will involve collecting Vittel from the eponymous town, and Perrier from Vergeze, in France, and San Pellegrino from two sites in Italy – Madone and Ruspino, and transport them to the UK.

Norbert Dentressangle already provides a warehousing and logistics services for Nestlé Waters UK at three sites in Buxton, which deliver its brands to major retailers across the UK.
