We’ll move vaccine for free, says P&O Ferries

DP World, owner of P&O Ferries, says it is willing to work for free to get Covid vaccines into the UK should we be asked to do so. It said: “We are willing to help play our part in getting the UK through the pandemic as fast as possible. We stand ready to support the Government in getting all the necessary vaccines into the UK.”

The first batches of vaccine destined for the UK have been despatched from a Pfizer plant in Belgium by road trailer.
