Work starts on Côte d’Ivoire Terminal

Construction has started on the Côte d’Ivoire Terminal, Abidjan’s second container facility, expected to be operational at the end of 2021. It follows the signing of a contract with the China Harbour Engineering Company in August. It will be operated by a joint venture between Bolloré Ports and APM Terminals and will add 1.2m teu annual capacity in its first phase and the only port in West Africa capable of handling vessels of up to 14,000teu.
