Work starts on new port for Paris

The Haropa port authority has started construction work of the (Port Seine Métropole Ouest / Western Metropolitan Seine Port (PSMO) 60km from Paris. Located at the confluence of the Seine and the Oise rivers, the multimodal facility is expected to host activities in the construction and civil engineering sectors. The first phase of the port is due to become operational from 2027 with further phases continuing up to 2040.

The operation includes the development of  quays, a rail  line, road access and space for businesses on around 50 hectares of land.
