Updated: Xpediator franchises in Cyprus and Albania, buys in the UK
[ November 1, 2017 // Chris ]Xpediator, parent company of East European specialist forwarder Delamode, has made its first country franchise awards to manage its B2C EshopWedrop online delivery service in Cyprus and Albania to Kronos Express and Albanian Courier SHPK respectively. Individual items are consolidated and delivered, firstly, to origin countries consolidation hubs and then transported using Delamode’s freight forwarding infrastructure to the destination countries hubs, with final delivery contracted to local courier operators. EshopWedrop was established in 2015 in Lithuania and has since expanded into Latvia, Estonia and Romania.
Xpediator has also bought Hampshire-based forwarder and courier Regional Express for £1.2m. The company is a service provider to Amazon Global Selling providing door-to-door services, VAT registrations and freight forwarding, customs clearanceand t ransport of goods via air and sea freight from the US and Far East into the UK. It has recently established a UK team to develop the same concept from the UK to the US.
