XPO invigorates Vigo operation

XPO Logistics has opened a multimodal transport hub in Vigo in Spain. The 3,000sq m site doubles the company’s facility space at the location in the north-west of the country, close to the border with Portugal. The new site has 22 cross-docks for domestic and international freight transport, including less-than-truckload (LTL), groupage and full truckload, as well as last mile service.

XPO has three hubs in Galicia, and says it is the less-than-truckload market leader in Spain, with 60 sites managing the transport of over 4 million pallets per year.
