Yang Ming moves to quell rumours

[ April 25, 2017   //   ]

Yang Ming issued a customer advisory note in late April to try and quell speculation over its future after its shares were suspended on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. It said that the suspension was a standard procedure for companies that were recapitalisating. The Taiwanese carrier voluntarily suspended trade in its stock between 20 April and 3 May following the announcement earlier this year of the plan.

Yang Ming has meanwhile ended its service to Iran, started only a year ago following the lifting of sanctions, citing security concerns.
