Yusen merges Vietnam operations
[ March 13, 2014 // Chris ]Yusen is to merge its two companies in Vietnam – Yusen Logistics Solutions (Vietnam) and Yusen Logistics International (Vietnam) from 1 April. Due to regulations on foreign capital investments in Vietnam, Yusen Logistics’ affiliates in the country have operating as two entities— the former company specialised in ocean freight forwarding and logistics, and the latter in air freight forwarding. But a change to the regulations mean that nthe companies can be merged.
The new Yusen Logistics (Vietnam) is headquartered in Hanoi and has 55,000 square-meters of warehouse facilities across 23 sites in four cities.
