Mossend plans to expand

PD Stirling and the ID Meiklam Trust have submitted a planning application to extend the International Railfreight Terminal at Mossend in Central Scotland. The proposed £250m International Railfreight Terminal would add 350 acres to the existing site and allow 775m long trains, with 200,000sq m of warehousing added in a phased scheme between 2015 and 2030. A decision on the planning application is due in early summer 2014.   [+]
