Gebruder Weiss appoints air and sea chief

Austrian forwarder Gebrüder Weiss has appointed Alessandro Cacciola as member of its management board in charge of air and sea operations, following the departure of Lothar Thoma from the company for personal reasons on 31 March. Cacciola joins from the Andreas Schmid Group where he was chief executive.
