Hapag-Lloyd explores Indian options

Hapag-Lloyd has signed a letter of intent with the Indian Government  to deepen maritime cooperation and support the continued development of India’s shipping and logistics sector. It includes development of Vadhavan Port, 100km north of Mumbai in collaboration with the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority as well as reflagging of up to four vessels under the Indian registry and sustainable ship recycling.
