Hellmann enters automotive joint venture
[ March 25, 2026 // Chris Lewis ]Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has signed a joint venture agreement with Samvardhana Motherson International to establish a global automotive logistics company, combining the forwarder’s global network and logistics expertise with Motherson’s automotive supply chain expertise.
The JV company will provide integrated supply chain solutions tailored to the global automotive industry with operations planned to launch in June 2026, and initially managed from a headquarters in Dubai. Further locations in Europe, North America, India, and the Middle East are planned as the business expands and customer needs evolve.
Hellmann global chief operating officer, Madhav Kurup, said: “The joint venture with Motherson further strengthens our position in the global automotive sector. As two companies with shared values and strong cultural alignment, we are building a partnership rooted in trust and long-term ambition. Together, we are creating a global platform that enhances resilience, agility, and sustainability across increasingly complex automotive supply chains.”
