Hellmann appoints automotive head

Hellmann Worldwide has appointed Monika Thielemann-Hald as Global Head of Automotive Logistics, succeeding Martin Wehner, who becomes Chief Commercial Officer Europe. She spent almost 20 years at Schenker in various management positions in the automotive sector before moving to Panalpina in 2014, where she established the Automotive Logistics Solutions division in Europe. Hellmann opens in Szczecin

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has opened a new branch in Szczecin, Poland to handle its breakbulk distribution within the country and further afield. Hellmann now has 14 of its own and seven partner branches in the country offering land transport, air and sea freight and contract logistics. [+]

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has gone into partnership with tracking specialist Hanhaa to deploy the latter’s ParceLive multi-point data solution across its worldwide operations. Kerry appoints Europe director

Kerry Logistics has appointed Birte Schulz as commercial director Europe. In her new role, Schulz will manage sales activities and key account management in ten European, based in Hamburg. She previously held positions as head of business development and head of key account management at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. [+]
