[ May 16, 2025 // Chris Lewis ]Associated British Ports has opened a new Immingham warehouse for agriculture products supplier Viterra. Phase 1 of the development began operations in 2022, with the opening of Shed 35 but plans to expand the facility were drawn up in early 2024.
Shed 36 now compliments the existing Shed 35, providing a total storage capacity for some 75,000 tonnes and built to DSEAR and TASCC standards for agribulks, which includes all food grades including animal feeds. All electrical equipment has been designed and built to be safe in an explosive atmosphere.
