Activists renew call to end monkey flights

[ April 30, 2018   //   ]

Cruelty Free International has renewed its call on Royal Jordanian Airlines to stop transporting monkeys destined for laboratories, saying it had contacted by a member of staff at Bangkok Airport about hundreds of the creatures in small wooden crates being flown from Thailand to the US by the airline. The organisation said that it had received written confirmation in 2014 that the carrier would not in future carry such traffic. CFI says it has already persuaded many of the world’s major airlines to end their involvement in the trade.
