APM signs Vietnam terminal deal

APM Terminals and Hateco Group have signed an agreement with Da Nang City in Vietnam to develop, build and operate a new terminal in Lien Chieu Container Port. The agreement includes an estimated investment of over US$1.7 billion USD to deliver a terminal with a capacity of over 5.7 million TEU per year, starting with Berths 1 and 2 in Phase 1, with expansion to an eventual eight berths.
