ABP is to sell its ports at Fleetwood and Silloth to Fox Jackson Ports, a new division of construction services, logistics and property company, Fox Group, subject to regulatory approvals.
Fox Group says the deal will support the movement of more of its aggregates by sea. It already operates a stevedoring operations and shipping agency based at Lancaster’s Glasson Dock.
