Austrian-owned forwarder Gebrüder Weiss has acquired logistics company Wedlich based in Bayreuth. The family-owned company specialises in land transport, logistics and relocation services, and employs around 100 people and is a further step in Gebrüder Weiss expansion into southern Germany.
Wedlich operates a 15,000sq m logistics facility in Bayreuth as well as another 15,000 m² in nearby Bad Berneck. It also operates the largest photovoltaic system of its kind in Bayreuth.
