East Midlands welcomes Longhao Airlines

East Midlands Airport has handled its first Central China Longhao Airlines Boeing 747-400 freighter flight from Zhengzhou Xinzheng International. The cargo carrier is operating twice-weekly flights on the route, its first to the UK.

China Central Longhao Airlines was restructured and established by Henan Civil Aviation Development and Investment Group in 2019. As a state-owned airline and the main base airline in Henan Province, it played a key role in the construction of Zhengzhou international air cargo hub, with a fleet operating throughout Asia and into Europe.
