Foreign trucks to pay tax by 2015

The Department for Transport is reported to be planning to introduce a £10 a day charge for foreign trucks by 2015 in a bid to even out competition with UK operators. The charge will in fact be payable by all road users, but British truckers will be able to reclaim it against vehicle excise duty.
