Gebrüder Weiss opens Uzbek organisation
[ January 15, 2026 // Chris Lewis ]Austrian forwarder Gebrüder Weiss has upgraded its representative office in Tashkent, Uzbekistan into a national organization in response to demand for reliable transport and supply chain services in the country, particularly the transport of oversized agricultural and construction machinery to Central Asia.
The new national organization will be headed by Kamil Ernazarov, who has held a management position in Tashkent since 2019. Gebrüder Weiss currently employs four people in Uzbekistan and offers land transport services (groupage and full truckloads) as well as air, sea, and rail freight. In the medium term, the service portfolio will be expanded to include warehouse and logistics services.
