Hellmann moves to ASM’s Sequoia

[ July 11, 2016   //   ]

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics UK is to migrate its perishable product division to ASM’s Sequoia customs clearance platform. It follows a trial period in which feedback from users was universally positive, says the UK-based software company.

Hellmann’s business and IS solutions manager, James Darlaston, said:  “Sequoia is truly intuitive. If you understand freight forwarding, which we expect our employees to do, it’s extremely easy to use. As a result, training sessions are short and our team understood the operation of the system without delay. Also, the switch to Sequoia went well, considering our complex infrastructure with our headquarters in Germany. The team from ASM invested considerable effort to ensure everything worked as expected.”

He described Sequoia as “a quantum improvement over our old system, jobs move through faster and repetitive keying is eliminated -and Sequoia doesn’t let you make mistakes.”
