[ December 6, 2023   //   ]

German-owned Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has established a new national company in Ireland at Dublin Airport. It will offer its entire product portfolio including air and seafreight, overland transportation and customs clearance.

This year, Hellmann has already established additional national companies in Switzerland, Slovakia, and most recently in Italy. It says that with its strong economy, Ireland is playing an increasingly important role in the European and global market. It will focus on the  pharmaceutical and healthcare industries and the electronics sector.

The new company will be led by general director Mrs Niamh Savage.
Regional chief executive for West Europe, Jens Tarnowski, said: “The opening of our new national company in the Republic of Ireland is another important milestone in our growth strategy towards a comprehensive European network. Furthermore, we are delighted to have gained an industry expert for Hellmann in Ireland, Mrs. Niamh Savage. Together with her team she will expand our presence in Ireland.”
