Hellmann revamp brings results

[ July 25, 2017   //   ]

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, headquartered in Osnabrueck, Germany generated a consolidated turnover of €2.3 billion in 2016, and increased its gross profit by around 14% from €75.6 million to €607.9 million. The company said the results reflected the successful realignment of the Hellmann Group launched in 2015, including the creation of three business units.

Board spokesman, Dr Thomas Knecht, said: “The reorganisation sets us on course for the successful development of the Hellmann Group…The positive Group result in a double-digit million range has exceeded the forecasts and I am confident that we will further increase earnings this year.”

Managing partner, Jost Hellmann, added: “Last year, the Hellmann Group developed positively in all relevant areas. We have done our homework. We have taken the right path in reorganising the Group and initiating the generational changeover – the Group result for 2016 makes this very clear.”
