[ October 10, 2018   //   ]

P&O Ferrymasters has invested in 150 more huckepack units for its rail service between Poznan in Poland and Rotterdam, all fitted with telematics systems to enable customers to track and trace their shipments in real time through dedicated web portals.

Mark Timmermans, Trailer Director at P&O Ferrymasters, said: “One of our great competitive advantages is that we have our own platform for the exclusive benefit of our customers, enabling them to track every shipment from collection to delivery point. And our Fr8Manager Transport Management System delivers world beating transparency, giving unprecedented levels of real-time visibility through the supply chain, allowing us to optimise resource utilisation and improve efficiency.”

P&O Ferrymasters this summer announced a sixth weekly round trip on its Poznan-Rotterdam route and the expansion of its logistics network into Turkey.
