New link to north Norway

Samskip has added Gjemnes to the schedule of its weekly Norwegian West Coast shortsea services, following the introduction of the larger 657teu MV Alk to the route in mid-2015. Departures from Rotterdam are on Tuesday with arrival in Gjemnes on Saturday. The shipping service is an alternative to trucking on the region’s narrow roads.
