New port welcomes new bosses

London Gateway recently welcomed 16 promising students from Palmer’s College to take part in its Next Top Boss Business Challenge. Students from the first and second year learned about the new port – one of the UK’s largest job creation projects – while working to develop skills such as critical thinking, researching and presenting to enhance their future career prospects. The Next Top Boss programme run by Thurrock Council aims to help build skills needed to help launch students’ careers.
