Record year for truck-relay firm

[ January 19, 2022   //   ]

Spanish road freight relay operator Trucksters says it registered a record €5 million annual sales in 2021, a 300% increase compared to 2020. The company, which was founded in 2018, uses artificial intelligence to reduce transit times while allowing drivers to sleep many more nights at home. It says it can keep vehicles on the road continuously without a break, eliminating the need for a co-driver.

The company is currently seeing monthly sales of €950,000, a 30% average growth each month and expects a revenue increase of at least €30 million euros by the end of 2022.

There are currently over 80 drivers working exclusively with Trucksters and a fleet of 130 trucks, expected to increase to 300 by the end of 2022.

The start-up secured Series A financing round of €6.3 million in 2021 from a group of international investors. And has been expanding its team in Spain, Belgium, Greece, and Germany. It will open branches in Poland, Netherlands and Italy during 2022.
