BA to axe Iran flights

British Airways and Air France’s low-cost arm Joon are to end flights to Tehran in September, citing low profitability. Air France partner KLM has already announced that it is to scrap the flights. Air France adds Jakarta option

Air France is adding a daily B777-300ER flight from Paris to Jakarta, Indonesia, via Singapore. It complements the daily B777-300ER service out of Amsterdam-Schiphol by KLM, its partner in KLM-Martinair Cargo. The carrier now offers 15 pallets of space a day to Indonesia. [+]

Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo flew a B747 freighter filled with 100 tons of relief cargo from Amsterdam to Cebu in the Philippines on 22 November. New routes on the Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo network from April include Paris-Montevideo five days a week, a continuation of the existing service to Buenos Aires, operated by a B777-200ER. There is also a new flight between Amsterdam and Fukuoka, Japan, three times per week with the same aircraft type. [+]
