Battery firm to inject fresh energy into port of Dunkirk

French industrial company Verkor has chosen  the Port of Dunkirk as the site for its first Gigafactory dedicated to the development of low-carbon automotive battery cells. Production capacity will increase from 16 GWh in 2025 to 50 GWh in 2030.
