South London sees air cargo surge

South London’s Gatwick airport says growth in long-haul routes led it to a 27.2% surge in cargo traffic in April, to 7,142 tonnes, compared with April 2016’s 5,615 tonnes in. For the 12 months to April 2017, the increase was 20%, to 82,666 tonnes.   [+]

BA to fly Gatwick to Vegas
