Airfreight handler Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) says it has become the largest purchaser of CLP Power Hong Kong Renewable Energy Certificates after it signed an agreement to purchase 45.9 gigawatt hours of power.
The agreement is the latest step in Hactl’s Green Terminal sustainability programme and covers six years from August 2022. It will be equivalent to a total reduction of around 18,000 tonnes of carbon emissions.
