Study upholds Move to -15°C findings

A study by Nomad Foods, Europe’s largest frozen food business, has been published in Nature’s npj Science of Food journal that challenges accepted industry standards by demonstrating that product can be safely stored at -15°C rather than -18°C. It says that the findings show that a 3-degree shift maintains quality and safety while cutting energy consumption by around 7%.
