The mother of all challenges

They may not look so scary in the photo, but these are some tough mudders. A 30-strong team from Forth Ports in Scotland have raised £25,000 for cancer support organisation Maggie’s Centre, taking part in the gruelling 12-mile of mud and obstacles Tough Mudder challenge in Dumfries & Galloway which was a 12 mile course of mud and obstacles, designed to test their mental grit, camaraderie and physical fitness. CargoLogic to the rescue

Sims Metal Management has opened a scrap metal handling facility at Peel Ports London Medway, through its sole UK trading subsidiary Sims Group UK. It allows Sims UK to expand UK deep-sea shipments of scrap metal to world markets and has a capacity of 300,000 tonnes a year. [+]

Acid leak at port of Hull

Fifty firefighters have dealt with a major acid tank leak at ABP Hull’s King George Dock, the BBC reports.
